Made in Belgium

Pami is proud to be 100% Belgian.

Pami is proud to be 100% Belgian. We have been designing and manufacturing all our office furniture here at home, in the heart of Europe, since 1958. What began as a one-man business in the year of Expo ’58 has grown into a leading family company with strong roots in Pelt, Limburg. Thanks to our central location in Europe, we can respond quickly and flexibly to the needs of clients across the Benelux and beyond.

Evolution

Founded in 1958 as a sole proprietorship, Pami became Pami NV in 1982 with a permanent base on the Nolimpark industrial estate in Pelt. That site still houses our factory and Experience Centre. In 1992, the company was revitalised under the leadership of the Essers family, who built Pami into one of the largest independent manufacturers of office furniture in Belgium. This growth was followed by a second Experience Centre in Tour & Taxis in Brussels and a sales office in Luxembourg.

In March 2022, Pami was acquired by New Office Invest (Goswin Fijen) after a thorough search by Lode and Hendrik Essers for a suitable successor. A process made necessary as there was no family succession.

In 2023, we opened commercial offices in Paris and Hamburg along with a third Experience Centre in Rotterdam. An important milestone followed at the end of that year: the merger of Pami and Belgian office furniture manufacturer Robberechts under the umbrella of Workspace Factories, with both companies retaining their own identity and independence. The Essers brothers rejoined this new chapter.

Workspace Factories then quietly built a stable, complementary group of specialists in office design and office furniture production. In that context, it completed several strategic acquisitions, including Magnus Olesen in Denmark, Viasit in Germany and Rofa in the Netherlands. At the end of 2025, this new European player presented itself officially for the first time with a clear structure and a shared vision for the future.

Locally anchored

Everything we do - from R&D and design to production and logistics - takes place in Belgium.

This vertical integration allows us to respond quickly, offer high-quality bespoke solutions and make sustainable choices without relying on foreign production.

It also enables us to keep our ecological footprint low and to continue investing in local employment. The result? Sustainable office design with Belgian roots, short lead times and maximum reliability.

The strength of a family business

As a Belgian family business with more than 65 years of experience, we believe in a personal approach and genuine commitment. Our clients value that human touch and experience Pami as warm, solution-driven and reliable – qualities we consciously cherish and continue to strengthen.

Our roots are in Limburg, but our outlook is European. Through the strategic collaboration within Workspace Factories, we are building on our ambition to grow into a leading European player in office design, without losing our identity as a locally anchored family business.

Investing in Belgian jobs and innovation

Our Belgian identity is not a slogan, but a conscious choice. We continue to invest in local craftsmanship, sustainable technology and job creation in our own country.

In 2020 alone, we invested more than €3 million in the expansion and modernisation of our production infrastructure. These investments are essential for our growth and for strengthening the circular economy in Belgium.

Close, reliable, sustainable

Choosing Pami means choosing Belgian-made quality. A partner in office design who operates sustainably, contributes to the local economy, and proudly makes its mark on the European market.
