A warm working environment with every amenity

“Over the past few years, we grew so rapidly that our offices had simply become too small,” says Benoit Goesaert, CEO of Powerland. “And they were no longer fit for modern ways of working. Fortunately, we still had space available on our own site, so investing in an innovative, energy-efficient new building was a no-brainer. The old building will also be given a new purpose as a workshop and storage facility. Nothing will go to waste.”

The Powerhub, designed by architect Karel Vandewynckel from Poperinge, was then fitted out in collaboration with Pami to become a warm, ergonomic and future-ready workplace.

Comfortable underfloor heating, sit-stand workstations for all employees, coffee corners on every floor and a large multifunctional space that serves as a cafeteria, meeting room and event venue ensure that the building has become far more than just an office.

“We wanted a future-proof building with a soul,” says Kevin Bervoet, Co-CEO of Group Vandotec. “A place where people enjoy working, where collaboration is encouraged, and where we can welcome customers in a professional setting.”

From building to workplace concept

Constructing a new building is one thing. Ensuring that people can work there comfortably, efficiently and healthily is something entirely different.

That is why Pami was involved at an early stage in shaping the workspaces and shared areas.

As a workspace designer, Pami helped Group Vandotec make the best possible use of the available space and translate it into an interior concept that supports the way they work. The focus was not only on furniture, but also on ergonomics, usability, atmosphere, flexibility and future growth.

“Together with Pami, we refined the interior concept into the outstanding end result you see today,” says Bervoet. “‘BRILLIANT. It is simply finished. Complete. I cannot describe it any better than that.”

“In an SME like ours, every minute counts because everyone’s schedule is packed,” Bervoet explains. “That is why efficiency is a top priority, and in that respect Pami exceeded our expectations.”
